Sunday 18th May marked our 5th Annual Jumble Trail — and what a day it was! With about 30 fantastic stalls spread across our neighbourhood, it was a vibrant celebration of community, creativity, and local spirit.
From preloved treasures to homemade bakes, books, toys, plants, and vintage gems, there was something for everyone. The sun made a shy appearance, but the warmth from our neighbours more than made up for it.
Community Highlights
This year’s food stalls were especially popular, adding delicious aromas and a social buzz to the trail. Some highlights included:
Returning for a second successful year, the Filipino BBQ stall, run by four Moss Hall families working together, served up mouth-watering skewers and traditional flavours — a real highlight for many visitors.
A vibrant Indian food stall offering home-cooked dishes that were both flavourful and comforting.
A sizzling Caribbean chicken stall run by a school parent, which was so good it even drew a visit from the Finchley Fire Station crew, who stopped by to pick up lunch!
A fresh waffle stand that was a hit with kids and adults alike — think golden waffles, Nutella, strawberries and smile
Pizza4Us, a trail favourite, partnered with us and donated part of their proceeds to the school fund.
The 10th Finchley Scouts held a fundraising stall in support of Daisy Chains and The Red Cross, showing once again how youth can lead on giving back.
Local business Blossoms Bouqcakes joined the trail with beautifully decorated treats — and generously donated part of their profits to the school.
Creative Corner
We were also thrilled to feature local artists showcasing and selling their work — from prints and textile to original paintings and handmade cards. Their talent added a special touch to the trail and offered a platform for creative voices in our community.
School Spirit & Giving Back
We’re proud to share that two thirds of the stalls were run by school parents, and over half of those parents donated their proceeds to support school initiatives. That kind of generosity is what truly makes this event special.
Matched Funding
We’re thrilled to share that one of our Jumble Trail parents has generously applied for matched funding through their workplace, meaning the funds raised from the event could be doubled!
This is an incredible opportunity for our school and community projects, and we are incredibly grateful for their support. If any other parents work at companies that offer matched funding, please do get in touch! Every bit helps to support our school’s growth and future projects. Lovely Little Moments
It wasn’t just about the stalls — it was about neighbours chatting, children setting up lemonade stands, litte tykes hitting the trail pavements, and people discovering new corners of the community.
The Jumble Trail gave everyone a reason to get out, connect, and enjoy a slower Sunday together.

A big thank you to Winkworth estate agency for supporting our event by printing A3 posters. Their help played a key role in raising awareness and drawing visitors from across the community.
A huge thank you to everyone who took part — whether you hosted a stall, visited one, helped spread the word, or just came out for a stroll. Special thanks to the volunteers who made it all happen behind the scenes.
Five years in, and this event keeps growing stronger. We’d love to hear your feedback and ideas for next year. Let’s keep this community spirit going strong!
Missed this year’s trail? Keep an eye out — we’ll be back next year, and we’d love to have you involved.
